Easter Blessings
It was a beautiful spring day on Easter Sunday this year. Below is my card inspiration. I was reminded of the resurrection as I strolled through my backyard, seeing each new leaf and fresh bloom. Spring is truly a wondrous time of year bringing joy and hope of what is to come.
I stamped an image from Hero Arts on white card stock, colored it in with Copic markers then added a little glitz by adding glue using a Quickie Glue pen to the stripes and polka dots on the eggs then sprinkling over with glitter. I stamped and embossed the Easter Blessings sentiment on white card stock then cut it out and attached it on top of several layers of paper with pop dots. Adding some ribbon was the finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by.

Cards of Encouragement
I have several friends that are going through tough times right now so I made a couple cards to send that I hope will encourage them or at least let them know that someone cares. Bright colors always cheer me up so for my first card I stamped a flower image with the sentiment "Wishing you Sunny Days ahead". I colored in the flowers using Copic markers, added some colored bling and glitter to the centers, then added a frame using some coordinating patterned paper. Easy peasy!
The second card I made is more subdued in nature but the sentiment is still heartfelt (Thinking of you). For this card, I printed the sentiment from my computer onto the patterned paper, added a bit of pearl bling and ribbon and voila. Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by. May your day be filled with special blessings

Spending Time with Mom
Mom and I took a trip to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens last week to enjoy the beauty of Spring. Daffodils and tulips were blooming in all their glory. There were various gates displayed throughout the property. This was my favorite...as I love to garden. Would like to put something like this at the entrance to my backyard.
The time we spent together inspired me to make this greeting card to send her. Thanks for stopping by.

I've been having fun making greeting cards for some time now. Here's my favorite so far.
I stamped the Snowdrops image from Hero Arts then embossed it. Colored the picture using copic markers. Stamped the snowflakes around the edge of cardstock, then embossed with clear embossing powder. Finished the card with a stamped sentiment and white ribbon.
